As a young boy of five, I came to the U.S. from Mexico and grew up in Pasco, Washington. I quickly learned to navigate two languages, two cultures, and two ways of seeing the world - and that experience didn't just shape who I am. It shaped how I serve people.
I began working in the hospitality industry at 15, learning early that serving people well is a skill, not a personality trait. That foundation carried me into financial services - US Bank in 1999, then KeyBank - before I moved into mortgage origination in 2004. Over twenty years, I've helped hundreds of families buy homes, refinance, and build equity, many of them bilingual families - particularly Spanish-speaking clients - who had never worked with someone who understood both their financial circumstances and their cultural background. That gap is exactly why I do this work.
Obtaining my real estate license in 2026 was a decision rooted in twenty years of guiding buyers through one of the most significant financial commitments of their lives. The more I understood that process, the more clearly I saw what a single, fully integrated advisor could offer. That's the Casalink Advantage - one relationship, one conversation, one advisor from start to close.
As an independent broker with access to more than 220 wholesale lenders, my loyalty is to the outcome, not the institution. I search the market to find financing that genuinely fits - and I bring that same objectivity to every real estate decision. Two decades in this business have reinforced something I believe deeply - that transparent guidance, even when difficult, is the highest form of service.
Away from the office, I enjoy helping coach my sons' youth sports. On occasion, I'm also a licensed substitute teacher, K–12 - Hillsboro School District. I'm married to my wonderful wife of 10 years, Shannon, and we have two amazing sons, Braylon and Evan.
Every recommendation I make is weighed against one standard - what genuinely serves the client's long-term financial position.
Your mortgage financing is pre-approved through Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac or FHA TOTAL Mortgage Scorecard before you write an offer. That gives you negotiating power and eliminates financing contingency risk.
Executing on both mortgage and real estate under one umbrella means every detail is accounted for - no gaps, no miscommunication, no dropped handoffs between advisors.
Spanish-speaking clients get the same depth of guidance, the same explanations, and the same access - not a translated summary of what English-speaking clients heard.
